2. The Rookery at Marco

The Rookery, at Marco is owned by the JW Marriot Marco Island Resort and Spa. Located in the Fiddler’s Creek community just north of Marco Island, is semi-private golf course/resort course is surrounded by natural wetlands and preserves, creating a serene and picturesque setting. 

Designed by acclaimed golf course architect, Robert Cupp Jr., the course boasts challenging holes and stunning landscaping. The Rookery also offers a full-service pro shop and a restaurant with a full bar, ensuring that golfers have a complete experience both on and off the course.  Transportation can be arranged if you are staying at the JW Marriot Marco Island Resort and Spa.

3. Hammock Bay Golf & Country Club

Also owned by the JW Marriot Marco Island Resort and Spa, Hammock Bay Golf & Country Club is nestled within a private, gated community.  Hammock Bay Golf & Country Club offers a pristine 18-hole golf course designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy. 4. TPC Trevisio Bay

TPC Treviso Bay is a golf course located in south Naples making the drive. It is a private golf club to members from November, 1st to April 30th but is open for guest play from May 1st to October 31st. 

Designed by Arthur Hills and Hal Sutton, TPC Treviso Bay features 18 holes and offers a challenging yet enjoyable golfing experience. The course is known for its well-manicured fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and beautiful water features. In addition to the golf course, TPC Treviso Bay also offers a range of amenities for its members, including a clubhouse, practice facilities, and dining options.

Marco Golf and Garden made the list because it is one of our family’s favorite things to do when we vacation to Marco. It is conveniently located across from the Marriott Crystal Shores resort and within walking distance of many of the popular restaurants on the island. They even give you a chance to play Plinko after you play to earn tokens for future play which is great for the kids.
